Book Review - Kings Folly - Jill Williamson
Entertainment: The plot is fascinating, everyone has a mission they are trying to accomplish, and once you come to know the unique characters; by the end you won’t be able to put it down. Romance: There is plenty discussed/alluded too including arranged marriages, concubines, conquests, etc. One sweet romance that doesn't seem to have a chance but you keep hoping. Story: Kings Folly is a good fantasy book with Inspirational elements from the Bible. Good versus Evil is the overall theme with the physical and spiritual fate of the realms at stake. A murder mystery, natural disasters, human sacrifice, dark magic, who will be the next heir, and is there really only one God instead of multiple ones? Multiple points of view (royalty, peasants, and even those considered evil, but you hope one in particular might turn from her evil ways). Not every plot line was resolved, but I was satisfied with the ending . . . for now. Looking forward to reading more of this series!
